Minimum Version Required: 26.01

Pre-Conditions

Pre-conditions

  • Inventory Account Maps: Configured for Product Types FG - High Volume Alcohol and Work in Progrss - NA Beer.

  • Product Cost Plan: Established for High Value Alcohol so that an expected cost can be established

  • System Records: Stage Group WIP: Stripping, Stage Type De-Alcoholizationing, and Equipment Type De-Alcoholizer created.

Steps

Steps to Configure BrewVo Recipes

  1. Navigate to Recipe Management and create the base NA beer recipe.

  2. Build the primary stages: Brewing -> Fermentation -> Dry Hopping/Secondary Fermentation.

  3. Add a De-Alcoholization stage using Stage Group WIP: Stripping and Equipment Type De-Alcoholizer.

  4. Configure stage outputs:

    • Primary Output: Concentrated NA Beer (WIP - NA Beer).

    • Byproduct Output:High Value Alcohol.

    • Waste or 2nd Byproduct: Dump Low-Value alcohol (do not inventory or cost).

  5. Allocate cost proportionally across the concentrate and alcohol based on usable volume output (excluding wasted low-val volume).

  6. Add the Blending / Bright Beer stage: Combine the NA concentrate, 1058 Notch Hazy IPA-Nest Wort, and deaerated water into the bright tank.

  7. Save and test the batch run calculations.

  8. Review Product Cost Plan and Inventory Defaults for Byproducts

If cost calculations fail, mappings throw errors, or phantom inventory remains, contact Support with: (1) Ticket/Brand ID and Recipe Version, (2) Screenshot of the Recipe Stage output mappings, and (3) Exact decimal variance shown on the Facility Map.

Fields And Definitions

Field

Definition

FG - HV (Product Type)

Finished Good - High Value product category using Standard Costing; requires an active Product Cost Plan.

WIP - NA Beer (Product Type)

Work In Progress Non-Alcoholic beer base before final blending; requires Inventory Account Mapping.

High Value Alcohol (Product)

Re-claimable high-proof alcohol byproduct yielded during the BrewVo de-alcoholization stage.

Nest Wort (Product)

Unfermented wort blend added during final bright tank processing to balance flavor profiles.

Write-off Threshold

Equipment setting (%) that prompts operators to clear remaining liquid balances to loss upon batch completion.

Best Practices

Best Practices

  • Set Write-off Thresholds: Assign a 1%–5% write-off threshold on bright tanks and fermenters via the Equipment Table. This prompts operators upon stage completion to auto-clear minor decimal balances (e.g., 0.00007 bbl) to overhead loss rather than leaving hanging balances on the Facility Map.

  • Test in Sandbox First: Build and validate multi-output recipes in a refreshed test environment prior to executing in the live environment.
