The Product Detail screen is the hub for Product information, sales and inventory history, sales tools and more to help you complete your customer visits.
1. To access the Product Detail screen, tap on any product name from the usual products list in Mobile Invoice Edit.
2. Starting at the top, you can tap on the product name for product information.
Here is a list of product information including the inventory at the warehouse, recent purchase history for the customer, pricing information and more. This is a great quick glance at the product. Much of this information is also found throughout the other widgets.
3. Sell Sheet - This button opens any sell sheet that is linked to the selected product in a full screen mode to review with the customer or for your own information.
4. Knowledge - Here you will find a list of knowledge documents linked to the selected product. These documents are typically more detailed product handouts or other product information.
5. Pending Sales - This widget includes a section that displays pending sales. This number indicates that an order has been entered for this product, for this customer, but has not yet been delivered.
6. History - Below Pending Sales is the customers history of Inventory, Purchases and Backorders. You can toggle between viewing the history by week or by day on the right.
7. History Reports - The buttons below the history are History reports. These are mini reports that show the history of the customer's purchases for this product's Brand, Brand Family and Supplier.
8. Purchase Widget:
Backorders - When a product is out of stock at the warehouse, backorders can be entered here.
Back Order Expiration Date - allows you to set when the back order will be removed for the customer if the product does not come back in stock. For example, if the Backorder Exp Date is set to 4/2/2025 Encompass will continue to attempt to fulfill this backorder until april 2nd. After April 2nd, the backorder will expire and be removed.
9. Product History - This includes last purchase and inventory information, as well as the last pricing applied for this customer and product.
10. Retailer Information - An estimate of days of inventory and calculation of weekly sales. This section requires meticulous collection of retailer inventory for accurate information.
11. Common Information:
Available Inventory refers to the inventory available at the warehouse that fulfills this customer's orders. You are also able to review if there is a pending purchase that is expected to be received at the warehouse and that expected receive date.
12. Product Status - This field can be helpful to clean up the usual products list. If there is a product on the usual products screen that the customer no longer carries or no longer wishes to purchase, you can remove it from the usual products screen by setting this field to inactive. This only applies to the customer you are visiting. It does not affect the product's status for other customers.
13. Price - Includes product specific pricing information including the full price, unit price, case price and any discounts applied.
Retail Price - The editable field in this widget allows you to collect the retail price listed for this product at the retailer for better reporting and tracking.
