Written by Bailey Naas-Thornton

Minimum Version Required: 26.05

Pre-Conditions

  • The MerchSync application must be installed

  • Application Setting 3411 (Min cases to cancel merchandiser events) must be defined with your desired threshold value

Steps

1. From the App Library, configure the Minimum Case Threshold by setting the value in Application Setting 3411.

2. The system automatically monitors Merchandising Events and compares them against delivery volumes on the same day.

3. If a Customer has a scheduled normal delivery for a day, the system sums the total number of cases across all invoices for that Customer.

4. If the total number of cases for the day is less than the value specified in Application Setting 3411, the system automatically deletes the associated Merchandising Event.

5. This process runs as a background task every 15 minutes between 3:00 AM and 11:00 PM local time to ensure adjustments are made based on the latest load status.

Fields And Definitions

  • Min cases to cancel merchandiser events (Setting 3411): The threshold value used to determine if a delivery is considered "small." If the total case count for a day falls below this number, merchandising events will be eligible for automatic deletion.

  • Scheduled Delivery Event: An invoice recorded on a LoadSheet where the status is 'Loaded', the LS Type is 'Scheduled', and the invoice is not an 'Off Day Delivery'

  • Merchandising Event: An activity where 'IsMerchandiserAssigned' = True
