Wholesaler Partners,
Given the pending acquisition of BeatBox Beverages by Anheuser-Busch, wholesalers will be required to submit all sales, inventory, pricing, and other operational data to Anheuser-Busch. Wholesalers will be required to submit data to A-B beginning Feb 28, 2026 unless notified otherwise.
Wholesalers should report BeatBox data using A-B assigned PDCNs. PDCNs should be reported to both VIP SRS and BudNET. It is important that wholesalers update their current BeatBox Item code to an A-B PDCN, instead of creating a new item for the A-B PDCN. Attached is a table that shows the current BeatBox Item code mapped to the A-B PDCN that will be used beginning February 28, 2026. NOTE: Please pay close attention to Wine vs. Malt PDCNs and the ABV to ensure the correct item is adjusted.
WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT: Anheuser-Busch will be processing promo and allowance payments via AAP and tracking incentives for all wholesalers who have been assigned Brand Rights. AAP is dependent on receiving accurate sales data to execute these payments. Additionally, wholesalers will order products in OnePortal using A-B PDCNs and A-B will invoice using PDCNs after closing, pending the assignment of Brand Rights.
ACTION: Update BeatBox items to A-B PDCNs and begin reporting to A-B VIP SRS and BudNET
VIP RAS Wholesalers: Please see the attached SOP titled "VIP RAS - BeatBox Reporting SOP" as a guide to update the item codes to PDCNs and begin reporting to A-B SRS and BudNET.
Encompass RAS Wholesalers: Please see the attached SOP titled "Encompass - Update PDCNs" as a guide to update the item codes to PDCNs and begin reporting to A-B SRS and BudNET.
All Other RAS Wholesalers: Please consult your RAS provider for guidance on executing this transition.
