Minimum Version Required: 26.03
Pre-Conditions
Report Sharing Roles can be added by the report's owner (either in the Save Report dialog, or directly in the Report Sharing Roles table), or by users with Shared Dashboard Edit permission.
Steps
To enhance system security, the default behavior for new Fusion Reports has been updated. Report Sharing Roles are now required to view a report, for all reports created after upgrading to ECP 26.03.
New Reports: Cannot be executed by users unless specific Report Sharing Roles are assigned.
Existing Reports (created before the upgrade to 26.03): Will maintain previous behavior of not requiring Report Sharing Roles, to ensure no disruption to current workflows or integrations.
Sharing Reports between sites: To share a newly created report ID with another system, an administrator must explicitly add the appropriate Report Sharing Roles to the report definition.
Report Sharing Roles requirements include reports that are added to dashboards.
The requirement only affects reports created after the upgrade to 26.03, reports created before that time but updated later are exempt.
