Steps

To understand why a product may or may not appear in OrderIQ suggestions:

  • Product Type has SalesReportDefault = 1

  • Product Type has TrackInventory = 1

  • Product Type has a ProductPickTypeID assigned

2. Customer/Product history requirements:

  • The customer must have purchased the product within the last 2 years

  • The purchase must be authorized (NotAuthorized = 0)

  • CustomerHistory Status must not be 0

3. If using SuggestedOrderLimitations:

  • Check if specific products, product types, or product type codes are configured

  • Limitations can include or exclude products from suggestions

Fields And Definitions

  • CustomerHistory.LastDate: Date of most recent purchase - must be within 2 years

  • CustomerHistory.Status: Active history status (non-zero)

  • CustomerHistory.NotAuthorized: Product authorization for customer (0 = authorized)

  • ProductTypes.SalesReportDefault: Indicates product should appear on sales reports

Best Practices

  • If a product should receive suggestions but doesn't appear, first verify the product meets all eligibility criteria

  • Check the customer's purchase history for that product

  • New products without purchase history will not receive AI suggestions until they have historical data

  • To exclude specific products from OrderIQ, use SuggestedOrderLimitations rather than deactivating the product
