Minimum Version Required: 25.01

Pre-Conditions

  • OrderIQ is configured for the customer

  • Sales rep reports missing or incorrect suggestions

Steps

Checking Why Suggestions Are Missing:

1. Verify Customer Configuration:

  • Confirm Apply = 1 (enabled)

  • Confirm AISuggestedOrder = 1 (AI prediction enabled)

  • Check that the customer has an active route with scheduled stops

2. Verify Stop Configuration:

  • Customer must have stops assigned to an active route

  • The route must have Frequency ≠ 0

  • The RouteVersion must be Active

  • The Activity must have IsSalesmanAssigned = TRUE

  • Check if "Include Driver Sell Stops" setting (3398) is enabled if using delivery stops

3. Verify Product Eligibility:

  • Product Status must be Active

  • Product Type must have SalesReportDefault = 1

  • Product Type must have TrackInventory = 1

  • Product Type must have a ProductPickTypeID assigned

4. Verify Purchase History:

  • Customer must have purchased the product within the last 2 years

  • CustomerHistory.Status must not be 0

  • CustomerHistory.NotAuthorized must be 0

5. Check for Product Limitations:

  • Review SuggestedOrderLimitations for the customer

  • Ensure the product isn't excluded by ProductID, ProductTypeID, or ProductTypeCode filters

6. Check Forecast Task Status:

  • Verify the forecast task completed successfully for the customer

  • Check for any error messages in the forecast task log

Fields And Definitions

  • Status (Forecast Task): Processing status (0=Queued, 9=Completed, 10=Failed, 11=Skip)

  • Memo: Contains error messages if the forecast task failed

  • Week Date: The Monday of the forecast week

  • Date: The scheduled stop date for the customer

Best Practices

  • If suggestions suddenly stop for a customer, first check if their route or stop configuration changed

  • New customer/product combinations need historical data before predictions can be generated

  • If a product was recently added to a customer's history, allow 1-2 weeks for it to appear in suggestions

  • Check the ActivityIDEffective on stops - it must be a sales activity (IsSalesmanAssigned = TRUE)

  • For accounts with very low purchase frequency, predictions may be less reliable

  • If predictions seem wrong, review recent purchase patterns - unusual orders can temporarily skew predictions
