Wise Systems: Daily Routing Integration

Distributor steps for the Wise Systems daily routing integration: load invoices from Encompass into Wise, set load sheet dates and static routes, then export optimized routes back. Needs Wise Systems app installed; v25.09+.

Pre-Conditions

  1. Install the Wise Systems application in the App Library

  2. Contact Wise and provide them your EncompassID so they can link your Wise account. If you are new to Wise you can contact [email protected]

Steps

The Wise Systems integration is designed to optimize the daily routing workflow. After all invoices have been imported into Encompass for all routes, or a specific set of routes, this data is uploaded to Wise Systems for route optimization.

Once the optimization is complete, the data is then re-imported back into Encompass. Both the import and export of data are managed by Wise Systems.

Exporting Data to Wise Systems:

  1. In Wise Systems, click 'load from Encompass' in the Upload module

  2. Provide the start and ending dates (Load Sheet Dates) for the data to be uploaded as well as any static route numbers. Static routes whose delivery events and tasks will not move to different routes when optimizing in Wise.

  3. Once the route optimization has been completed in Wise Systems, click on the 'Export to Encompass' option. As the data is imported, the invoices in Encompass will be moved to the correct route. This data can be verfiied by refreshing or clicking the Show button in Delivery Optimizer.

Export to Wise:

  • Wise_Build_Plans - Generates plans and events for a certain date and activity. plan and eventsUses Lamda function to call Wise_Ajax_MappedRouting_CreatePlansEvents, which inherits from Ajax_MappedRouting_CreatePlansEvents to simulate Delivery Optimzer > Mapped Routing to generate plan and events

  • Wise_Events - Uses ReportID 13940896 to pull data from Encompass. Example: https://test.encompass8.com/api?APIToken=[API Token]&APICommand=Wise_Events&Activity=1&EncompassID=[EncompassID]&Date=20250101

Import to Encompass:

  • Wise_GetLoadSheets - Inherits from TableView and returns data in CSV format. Full list of filters to apply. Example: Parameters=F:TaskStatusID~V:1^2^3~O:E|F:AssignToUserID~V:1~O:E Returns LoadSheetID,Date,Status,LoadSheet_Routes^Routes_Activities^Activities.ActivityID,PlanID. Note: Limit it 5000 records
