Equipment Types

Producer steps for creating Equipment Types for production: name, Facility Map shape and size, capacity UoM, Write Off Threshold, and Is Portable for totes and barrels vs fixed tanks. Requires v22.01+.

Pre-Conditions

  • All Production must be mapped through Equipment. Equipment Types determine which Production Stage Types will be allowed to occur in a piece of Equipment of that type.

Steps

Creating New Equipment Types

  1. Navigate to the Equipment Types table
    ​
    ​

  2. Click the Add Equipment Types button
    ​
    ​

  3. Name the Equipment Type
    ​
    ​

  4. Select the Shape and Size that the equipment will show up on the Facility Map
    ​
    ​

  5. Select the Unit of Measure (UoM) that will measure this Equipment Types capacity
    ​
    ​

  6. Set a Write Off Threshold if desired. Write Off Threshold will prompt Users to write off remaining inventory in a tank after a batch has been processed if the remaining volume is less than the threshold set in this field.

  7. Set Is Portable=True for any Equipment Types that can be easily moved around the facility (totes, barrels, etc.) Set to False for fixed equipment.

  8. Click the Add Record button
