Steps

Encompass includes a built-in limit on the total number of emails that can be sent from the system each day. This limit helps ensure system stability and manage email sending resources effectively.

  • The daily email limit is calculated automatically based on a variety of size calculations of your Encompass system, based on number of routes, customers, subscription amount, etc. This ensures that larger systems have a larger limit.

  • There is also a minimum guaranteed limit of 1,000 emails, even for the smallest system.

  • The actual limit applied for the day is the higher value between the calculated limit and the relevant minimum threshold (1,000 or 20,000).

  • The system tracks the number of emails sent throughout the day, comparing it against this calculated daily limit.

  • If the number of emails attempted to be sent exceeds the daily limit, further email sending may be blocked or delayed until the limit resets the following day.

  • These limits are in place due to restrictions to prevent Spam proliferation.
