Steps

1. Create a Job against the contract customer. See Fields & Definitions for more info

2. Assign the job to relevant purchases and batches so that the transactions can be tracked from the Jobs Overview dashboard

3. Process purchase orders and production orders per normal process

To create a down payment invoice:

  • Select Invoice Date

  • Select down payment amount by clicking one of the preset rates or enter a custom amount

  • Select Down Payment Product to be used on the customer invoice and to recognize deferred revenue

  • This will create an invoice in Balanced status. If additional edits are needed, click on the Invoice link and edit per normal procedure. If no edits are needed, this step is complete.

To create a final invoice upon production order completion:

  • The invoice can then be edited to add pallet or service fees, taxes, etc. Once edits are complete, palletize the invoice and Assign Batch per normal procedure.

  • Once this invoice meets the Verify Status on the route, a $0 purchase will be created to transfer this inventory to the Client-Owned location where it can be stored until final shipment.

  • If edits need to be made to the invoice, unload the load sheet, make the needed and edits and reload/return it and the related transfer purchase will automatically update.

To ship the client-owned inventory:

  • Go to the Load Sheets table and add a load sheet

  • Select the route assigned to the Client Owned location

  • Add Invoice, customer and products per normal invoicing procedure
