Steps

Setting the Delivery Policy Field on a Customer

1. Go to the Customers Table.

2. Insert the "Delivery Policy" field.

3. Edit the Delivery Policy field:

  • F) Flexible - Customer can be on any route

  • SD) Same Day - Customer should only be on a delivery route with the same day as their scheduled route

  • SR) Same Route - Customer should only be on a delivery route with the same route number as their scheduled route

  • NF) Not Flexible - Customer should only be on the route they are scheduled for

4. Go to "Delivery Optimizer"

5. Select the Location and Delivery Date

6. Click "Show"

7. After selecting routes, click "MappedRouting"

8. Click the arrow button to view the route list

9. The Delivery Policy will be displayed next to the customer.

NOTE: If the customer is on a route that conflicts with the delivery policy, the customer's short name will be displayed in red font.

Conflict Logic:

  • Delivery Policy is SD and the load sheet day of week is not the same as the customer's scheduled delivery route day of week (ex. The Load sheet is on Monday, but the customer has a delivery stop on Tuesday)

  • Delivery Policy is SR and the load sheet route number is not the same as the customer's scheduled delivery route number (ex. The load sheet is on Route 101 on Monday, but the customer has a delivery stop on Route 102 on Monday)

  • Delivery Policy is NF and either the day of week OR the route number are not the same
