Pre-Conditions
The following workflows assumes that:
The Product for the liquid being packaged has Track Batch Codes = True.
You need to package liquid that was produced under a different batch.
Steps
Package liquid produced under a different Batch after using 'Add Packaging to Batch' to schedule a Packaging Production Order.
Using 'Add Packaging to Batch' on the Batch Management page sets the 'Packaging From Batch' field on the Packaging PdO.
When the 'Packaging From Batch' is set, the user can only package liquid produced under this batch.
Liquid produced under other batches can be accessed by removing the Batch set as the ‘Packaging From Batch’. This field can be updated on the Production Order Edit page.
Click ‘Edit Production Order’
Remove the Batch set as the ‘Packaging From Batch’. Click ‘Save Changes’.
The user will no longer see the ‘Packaging From Batch’ field on the Production Processing page, and will now be able to access all Batches of liquid available for packaging.
Click ‘Process’ to begin processing the Packaging Production Order..
Click ‘Package’, enter the Packaging Quantity, and manually select the Batch(es) of liquid being packaged.
Click ‘Add’
Click ‘Complete’
Schedule a Packaging Production Order that allows packaging liquid under any Batch
Instead of using ‘Add Packaging to Batch', click ‘Start New’ and select a Packaging Recipe.
Leave the ‘Packaging From Batch’ field blank if you wish to access liquid produced under any Batch.
Click ‘Process’ to begin processing the Packaging Production Order.
Click ‘Package’, enter the Packaging Quantity, and manually select the Batch(es) of liquid being packaged.
Click ‘Add’
Click ‘Complete’
