Updating Status and Arrival Dates on Master Orders

Distributor steps for updating the Arrival Date and marking Dock Status as arrived on master order shipments in Encompass from the Shipments table or purchase view. Requires v25.02+ and PO Generator shipments.

Pre-Conditions

  • Forecast Group must have a Shipment Location

  • Shipments/Purchase created from PO Generator

Steps

From Table View:

  1. Go to the Shipments table
    ​
    ​

  2. Apply any filtering or sorting
    ​
    ​

  3. Arrival Date: Edit the Arrival Date to reflect when the Master shipment has arrived.

  4. Dock Status: Click the "Mark as arrived" link to indicate that the shipment has arrived. The Dock Status will be set as arrived.

  5. NOTE: If utillizing dock time calendar, the Dock Status reflected in Dock Time Calendar will be reflected on the Dock Status as well.

From Purchase View or Purchase Edit:

  1. The Arrival Date can be edited from the purchase view.
