Steps

How to Install the Application:

  1. Go to the App Library
    ​
    ​

  2. Search for and select the Promotional Product Cleanup app
    ​
    ​

  3. Click Install
    ​
    ​

  4. Assign Report and Dshboard Roles
    ​
    ​

  5. Set a schedule for the import routine to run
    ​
    ​

  6. Update application settings as needed
    ​
    ​

  7. Accept Terms
    ​
    ​

  8. Click Install

General Knowledge:

  • Promotion end date is not required
    ​
    ​

  • This application will still have the promotion record so it can still be reported on historically.

How the application works:

  • Automatically finds Promotions Products records on Products that have been moved to the 'Discontinued' status, and deletes those Promotions Products. (Just the Promotions Products, Promotions are not deleted)
