Advanced Analytics Dashboard
Best Practices
Important General Technical Information:
1. Installing the Advanced Analytics app creates a new Power BI workspace named by the EncompassID of your system.
Test systems will not have access to the Advanced Analytics dashboard.
2. Workspaces are Single Semantic Model which means only the data (tables, fields) designated by Encompass are reported on.
Additional semantic models cannot be added.
Tables & fields are not editable, addable, or removable by users or support.
3. Each workspace has a 100GB storage maximum.
Encompass’ semantic model is specifically designed with this storage limit in mind.
4. Each workspace has a 1,000 report maximum.
5. All reports are saved both in the Power BI workspace and in Encompass saved reports.
Reports are fully editable from the Advanced Analytics dashboard.
Access to the Power BI backend for advanced report editing/creation is a professional service request and will be charged as such.
6. Data for the semantic model is updated once/day - this is not editable.
7. User license records are stored in the OAuth Power BI table.
