Minimum Version Required: 24.06

Steps

  • Data in the Routes Metrics table is calculated by the system automatically on a daily basis. Data is calculated for active route versions and "future" inactive route versions.

  • Search for the "Routes Metrics" table in the "Search for anything.." field. Users or roles must have Route View permissions to view the route metrics table.

Fields And Definitions

  • Route - Route name.

  • Active - This is a virtual field from the Route Versions table indicating if the route is active or not.

  • Phase - There will be a Routes Metrics record for each possible phase option. See the phase column on the Stops table. So even if all stops on a route are phase All, there will be a Routes Metrics record for each phase. This will allow the system to recalculate if there are mixed phases on a route, similar to selecting the phase options in Mapped Routing.

  • Distance - This is the overall distance for the route. This is calculated from Google Maps and is sorted on 1) Stops Sequence and 2) Customer ID. It is recommended to NOT have stops on a route with the same sequence.

  • Travel Time - This is the total drive time. This is calculated from Google Maps and is sorted on 1) Stops Sequence and 2) Customer ID. It is recommended to NOT have stops on a route with the same sequence. Travel Time does NOT consider traffic.

  • Service Time - This is the calculated service time that it will take to service the customers on the route. Service Time is calculated from average times from data where GPS Devices are installed in vehicles, which requires Fleet Tracker integration with Geotab or Samsara. If turned on with Fleet Tracker, the average service times are stored on the Delivery/Sales/Merchandiser Average Service Times on the Customer table. If Fleet Tracker is not integrated, or if average service times are not calculated from GPS data, the service time is calculated from Fixed Service Minutes or Presell Service Minutes, and Seconds per Case on the Customer or Customer Types tables.

  • Average Service Time - Service Time / Number of Stops

  • Total Time - This is the sum of the Travel Time and Service Time.

  • Route Cost - This is calculated from the Cost Per Mile for the vehicle on the route * the Route Distance. Cost Per Mile can be set on the Vehicles table.

  • Cases - Number of cases sold on the route based on the Route Metrics Duration, which is a default of 60 days. Routes Metric Duration can be changed on the Routes table to options including 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, and 120 days.

  • Kegs - Number of Kegs sold on the route based on the Route Metrics Duration.

  • $Vol Cases - Sales Volume for cases sold on the route based on the Route Metrics Duration.

  • $Vol Kegs - Sales Volume for cases sold on the route based on the Route Metrics Duration.
