Approve Objectives Dashboard Common Troubleshooting

Distributor troubleshooting for the Approve Objectives dashboard in Encompass: user can't open the dashboard (add Dashboard Roles) or supplier tasks missing in Encompass Mobile (add Mobile Links). v23.06+.

Steps

User Unable to Access the Approve Objectives Dashboard?

​Add Dashboards Roles (For task approvers).

  1. Start in the Dashboards table, Search for Approve Objectives in the "Dashboard" column
    ​

  2. After the Approve Objectives dashboard record is populated:
    ​
    ​

  3. Click Subtables -> Dashboard Roles
    ​
    ​

  4. Click Add Dashboard Roles
    ​
    ​

  5. Select the role you wish to assign to the Approve Objectives dashboard

Results: Dashboard roles will be assigned and the Objectives manager will be able to access the Approve Objectives dashboard, after clicking the refresh icon in the dashboard menu.

User is Unable to Find Supplier Tasks on Encompass Mobile?

​Set-up Mobile Links

  1. Start in Mobile Links Table
    ​
    ​

  2. Click Add Mobile Link
    ​
    ​

  3. Select the Mobile Application you wish to add a Mobile item to.
    ​
    ​

  4. Add a From link: This is the location in Encompass Mobile that the Mobile item will populate
    ​
    - Add From link: Event View - Encompass Mobile
    ​
    ​

  5. Add a To link: This is where the Mobile item will take the user
    ​
    - Add To link: Supplier Tasks - Encompass Mobile
    ​
    ​

  6. Set Grid Layout - Navigation Tools
    ​
    ​

  7. Click Add Record

Results: Mobile items will be added to Event View. Supplier Tasks will populate in Encompass Mobile following a manual sync.
