Best Practices

It is recommended to transfer inventory at a laid-in cost or laid-in + tax prices using a transfer out inventory customer. When creating new products, the costing may not be initially known, and due to timing issues, it is possible that products can be transferred at $0 before the costing is set up.

* The Products Product Type must have 'Track Inventory' set to 'True' to show on the Transfer Variance Report.
