How to Configure

1. If Bluetooth is not enabled, go to “Settings” on your iOS device and select “Bluetooth”. Toggle the switch to the “On” position.

2. Scan the “Set Factory Defaults” barcode.

3. Scan the “Bluetooth Keyboard Emulation (HID Slave)” barcode.
​

4. Scan the “Variable PIN Code” barcode.
​

​NOTE: The next 2 steps will require quick execution or your device will timeout

(you will have 15 seconds). To enter the code in step 5, you will need the

barcodes found in step 6.

5. Select your LS3578 device. Scan the four barcodes that apply in rapid succession to enter the code. NOTE: Your 4 digit code will be different when syncing and re-syncing.

6. Scan the 4-digit code accordingly from the barcodes below when prompted

7. Scan “End of Message” when finished
​
​

8. Finally, scan the “Auto-reconnect Immediately” barcode.

9. You should now see the Symbol LS3578 scanner connected to your iOS device.
