Fields And Definitions

The various move options interact with related inventory differently.

Inventory does not move with invoice:

Move Not-Delivered

  • Can select any status load sheet to move the invoice to

  • Does not bring the loaded inventory with the moved invoice, the product will stay in the original route bin

  • Invoice has to be re-palletized on the new load sheet and re-picked

  • When to use: when moving an Invoice from one load sheet to another, with no intention of moving the related pallets onto another truck

  • What is unique about this option: leaves product in the route bin to be reconciled during truck return

Inventory does move with invoice:

Move Off-Load

  • Can select any load sheets in the Loaded status to move the invoice to; New status load sheets are also available if the route bins match

  • Brings inventory and pallet record with moved invoice, product goes to the new route bin

  • Invoice does not have to be re-palletized or re-picked

  • When to use: when moving an invoice from one loaded load sheet to another loaded load sheet, or when you don't need to print a new pallet tag or unload the inventory from its destination route bin

  • What is unique about this option: leaves pallets in loaded status, and will not require a new pallet tag

Move Re-deliver

  • Can select any load sheets in the New status to move the invoice to

  • Brings inventory with the invoice, but creates a new pallet record tied to the new load sheet (for more accurate pallet labeling, if needed)

  • Product goes to the new route bin once a new pallet tag is printed from the original load sheet's Route Reconciliation Redeliver tab

  • When to use: When moving an invoice from a loaded load sheet to a new load sheet sharing the same route bin, with intention to re-load related pallets later

  • What is unique about this option: allows a user to move an invoice between two routes that share the same route bin, with better control of when the related inventory is loaded

Best Practices

Based on the impact to inventory that comess with each invoice move option, consider which option best fits common situations for your business. Determine a standard practice for each situation, and communicate it with your team.
