Equipment Type:

Is Portable = True
Product = NOT NULL (set as non-inventory barrel product)
Planned Fill Count - set to the desired number of fills for all Equipment under this Equipment Type. This will be used to disburse the barrel cost to the liquid in the barrel at the time of the barrel fill.
Steps
How to Use:
The Barrel Cost is established at the time of purchasing the barrel using either the ‘Buy Empty Barrels’ or ‘Buy Filled Barrels’ function
The Barrel Cost is stored on the Barrel Attributes record for each Barrel Equipment. After buying a barrel, click on the Barrel Name hyperlink to open the Barrel Equipment record, where you will see the associated Barrel Attributes subtable.
Barrel Cost is disbursed to the aging liquid at the time of the barrel fill
-The amount of barrel cost to disburse on each fill is determined by dividing Planned Fill Count by the Barrel Cost
-So in this example:
4/$100 = $25 of barrel cost will be disbursed over 4 barrel fill
-Barrel Cost Disbursement will end once Planned Fill Count = Fill Count. All subsequent barrel fills will not include barrel costExample:
-Fill Barrel 304 with 53 gallons of ‘Krill Barrel Proofed Rum’ that is valued at an Extended Cost of $106.57
-Barrel 304 now shows as ‘Filled’ in the BMC
-Click on the barrel name in the BMC to access the Equipment and Barrel Attributes records
-See that the barrel shows as ‘Filled’ with Fill Count = 1
-Liquid Cost in Barrel = Value of liquid + Barrel Cost Disbursement
$106.57 + $25.00 = $131.57
-The ‘Liquid Cost in Barrel’ is the value that will be passed to the remaining liquid in the barrel at the time of the barrel dump
