Minimum Version Required: 24.01

Pre-Conditions

  • Distributor must carry RedBull products. These products need accurate Supplier Product Numbers. These values can be pulled from global products.

  • MSA will provide a Red Bull Location Number for each location.

Steps

Configure each reporting location:

  1. Create Suppliers Reports records with Report Type = RedBull MSA. Each location needs its own Suppliers Reports record and the Distributor Number comes from the Red Bull Location Number provided by MSA.

  2. Create Exchange Configurations with Exchange Map = RedBull MSA, Mailbox = MSAAAS2, Direction=Outbound, and Sender ID = Red Bull Location Number.

Configure site-wide system settings:

  1. Setting 18 is the file sequence number. If MSA requests the file sequence number needs to change, this is where to change it.

  2. Setting 229 sets the Load Sheet status for sales data that is sent to RedBull MSA

RedBull MSA data will automatically send each day. Data can be manually sent via the RedBull MSA dashbaord.

Fields And Definitions

MSA DID - The distributor ID that MSA uses to define the distributorship. This value is not used in Encompass.

Suppliers Reports - This Encompass table tells the system which supplier/location combinations need to report to specific 3rd party supplier reporting integrations.

Best Practices

  • Setting 18 should not be manually set unless specifically requested by MSA.

  • Setting 229 should be set to Verifed. This greatly reduces the possibilities of data discrepancies.
