Minimum Version Required: 22.01
Pre-Conditions
The Load Sheet holding invoices to be moved must be in New status.
Those moving invoices will need the InvoiceEdit, and LoadSheetEdit permissions.
Steps
How to Move an Invoice on a New Load Sheet
Navigate to the Invoices table
View the invoice that needs to be moved
Click the Move button at the top of the screen
Skip this step if pallets have not yet been generated. If pallets have been generated, select from Delete Palletization and Re-pick the invoice or Move All Related Invoices and Loaded Products to a different Load Sheet
Select the destination Load Sheet to complete the move
Click to view the invoice as desired
Fields And Definitions
The various move options interact with related inventory differently. If a load sheet has been palletized by the time an invoice is being moved, the related pallets and inventory also need to be addressed during the move. Understanding the different options is particularly important if the invoice being moved is on a multi-customer pallet.
Inventory does not move with invoice:
Delete Palletization and Re-pick the invoice
This option will move only the invoice you want to move, without touching the other invoices on the pallet
The original pallet is reduced by the amount of cases on the invoice that moved
The moved invoice is now on the destination load sheet, but needs to be re-palletized
Inventory does move with invoice:
Move All Related Invoices and Loaded Products to a different Load Sheet
Because a pallet has already been generated with multiple invoices on it, the pallet can only be moved in its current status if all related invoices move with it
Best Practices
Based on the impact to inventory that comess with each invoice move option, consider which option best fits common situations for your business. Determine a standard practice for each situation, and communicate it with your team.
