Steps

Objective Statuses

Objective Status is a subtable of the Objectives table. When a new Objective is created, three default statuses of Assigned, Failed to Complete, and Completed are created. Additional statuses can be added to Objectives to create different workflows of surveys. For example, an Approval Pending status can be added to require a survey to be approved by a manager before being set to Completed.

Add New Objective Status

1. Navigate to the Objectives table and select the Objective to edit.

2. Click 'View' on the Objective Status subtable.

3. Click 'Add Objective Status'

4. Select the desired Status.

Note: If the status desired does not exist in the drop-down, a new status can be created on the Task Status table.

5. Select the Assign To Group based on which group of users the survey will be assigned to.

6. Select the User Level.

7. Click 'Add Record'.

Set Permissions on Objective Statuses

Setting Permissions on Objective Statuses prevents users without the selected permission from being able to put a task in that status. This is beneficial for approval workflows such as Asset Manager, Sign Shop, and more. If a user does not have the permission set on the Objective Status, it will not display as a status option to select.

1. Navigate to the Objectives table and select the Objective to edit.

2. In the Objective Status subtable, click the arrow next to the status.

3. Edit the Permission field and select the permission required to set a task to this status.

4. Click 'Save Changes'
