Invoicing Out Of Stock Products - Mobile

1. Navigate to the Mobile Invoice Edit screen.

2. Tap the purchase box for the product.

3. Enter the purchase amount, then click 'Done'.

A pop-up is displayed with the options to move forward. The product can be forced onto the invoice, backordered or the order can be cancelled. Note that the force button will only display for users with the Invoice Backorder Override permission.

Force

1. Tap 'Force' to force the product onto the invoice.

  • This overrides the out-of-stock and orders the product as normal. The transaction displays as a regular purchase on the invoice.

Back Order

1. Tap 'Back Order'.

  • The Purchase box will clear out and the product will be indicated as a back order by the "BO(#)" before the product name. In the example below, the product has two cases back ordered indicated by the "BO(2)"

2. Tap the product name to open the Product Detail screen to edit or review the backorder transaction.

3. Edit the Back Order Expiration Date if needed.

  • The backorder expiration date is automatically populated based on system setting 14.

  • If the back-ordered product is not delivered by this date, the backorder will be canceled.

  • The back order date can be adjusted to meet the customer's needs by tapping the backorder date box and selecting a new date from the calendar.
