Steps

How to set the Prompt Order Layer Threshold

  1. Using Universal Search, navigate to the Products table

  2. Search and select the Product you want to set a Layer Threshold

  3. From the Product record view, find and review the Cases per Layer field

  4. Navigate to Inventory table and filter to the Product

  5. Edit the Inventory Record and enter the desired Threshold value in the Prompt Order Layer Threshold field

  6. Click Save Changes

Best Practices

  • The Prompt is not a requirement, it is only a suggestion to round to the nearest flat layer

  • The Prompt is only displayed when the Quantity ordered is greater than Threshold value
Example: If the prompt value is set to 5, only a quantity of 5 or more will trigger the prompt.

  • Set the Threshold with the Cases per Layer in mind. This prompt works best as a helpful suggestion that complements a workflow, and when you set this too low, it just becomes an extra click to ignore.
