RoadNet Integration Setup

Distributor steps for setting up the RoadNet routing integration in Encompass: copy the RoadNetOrders Exchange Map, create an Exchange Configuration and mailbox, and add locations. Requires v23.12+.

Steps

File Mapping Setup for RoadNet Integration

  • Create a copy of the RoadNetOrders Exchange Map.

  • Exchange Map: Name your Exchange Map RoadNetOrders[EncompassID]
    ​

  • Trading Partner: You should be able to find your Trading Partner in the dropdown list

  • Be sure to copy all subtables
    ​
    ​

  • See example below

  • Create an Exchange Configuration using the Exchange Map created above.
    ​

  • MailBox: With the mailbox empty, the Order.txt file will be created and can be downloaded. The Order.txt file can be send to a FTP server by setting up a Mailbox

  • Add Exhange Configuration Locations records for any location where invoice are being imported in from RoadNet.
