Minimum Version Required: 22.01

Steps

Full Screen Mode allows an Encompass dashboard, or set of dashboards, to be displayed on a monitor for an extended period of time. This ideal for displaying metrics, reports, and other company information on a TV display.

To use full screen mode, from the computer that will be displayed:

  1. Click the 3-dots in the top of the left-side menu from any page

  2. Click the 'Start Full Screen Mode' option in the menu

  3. Select the dashboards from the list of dashboards available to you that you would like to display.

  4. Select the 'Rotate Rate' at the top based on how frequently you would like to rotate between multiple selected dashboards

  5. Click 'Start'

Best Practices

  • If multiple dashboards are selected, the system will rotate through and refresh the dashboards based on the Rotate Rate selected in step 4

  • If only a single dashboard was selected, the system will refresh the dashboard at the Rotate Rate selected.

Note: If there are reports on the dashboards, they will only be refreshed with new data at a maximum frequency of every 15 minutes, and the report cache settings on each report will also be respected, which can cause the data to delay longer.

  • The 'Full Screen Mode' will by-pass the session timeout limit in setting 11, and allow the page to be displayed for up to 365 days maximum.

  • If you exit Full Screen Mode at any time (even within the session timeout limit), you will be logged out of the system and need to log back in.
