Steps

How to Use:
1. Navigate to ‘Barrel Management Console (BMC)’ from the universal search bar.
2. Navigate to the ‘Barrel Management’ tab and click ‘Buy Empty Barrel’.
3. Build the barrel Purchase
Select the Vendor & Purchase Date
Selecting a date in the past will result in the Purchase being created in ‘Received’ status. Selecting a date in the future will result in the Purchase being created in ‘Ordered’ status.
Select the barrel Equipment Type(s) and quantity. Multiple purchases can be built for multiple barrel types.
Enter the details of each barrel type being purchased.
Barrel Name is system generated using the Equipment Type Name and assigning a unique barrel number; however, the barrel name can be manually overridden if needed.
Enter Barrel Cost. This is the cost of the empty barrel that will be dispersed to the liquid during Barrel Fill.
Click ‘Receive’.
4. If the barrel Purchase date is less-than or equal to today, then the Purchase will be created in ‘Received’ status. Navigate to the Purchase to mark as ‘Confirmed’. This is required before barrel filling can occur because the barrel cost must be defined and passed to the liquid at the time of the fill.
Barrel Purchases can be found in the ‘Barrel Purchases’ tab in the BMC. Click the arrow on a Purchase to access the record in question.
Barrels will be in ‘Pending’ status until their Purchase is ‘Confirmed’.
The barrels will move to ‘Active’ once the Purchase is ‘Confirmed’. The barrels can now be filled.
