Best Practices
Don’t set split invoicing on the Chain and Customer level. Doing so will cause undeterministic behavior in the splitting of invoices.
Assign Product Types to a single Product Group.
The Conflicting Customer and Chain Split Invoice Records report will show if there are Split Invoices set for both Customers and Chains. This conflict can cause logic problems, so referencing this report periodically ensures that Invoices are Spliting in expected and predictable ways.
Consider common optional configurations for Split Invoices such as: AR Account, Terms, DUNS Number, or Invoice Template.
