Adjust Barrel Volume

Producer steps for adjusting the filled volume of a barrel in Encompass Barrel Management, writing off storage loss or gain without changing liquid value. Requires v24.01+ and an active, filled barrel.

Pre-Conditions

  • ‘Barrel’ Equipment with Status = Active

  • ‘Barrel’ Equipment with Barrel Attribute Condition = Filled

Steps

How to Use:

  1. Navigate to ‘Barrel Management’
    ​
    ​

  2. Filter barrels to Condition = Filled
    ​
    ​

  3. Select a barrel
    ​
    ​

  4. Click ‘Adjust Volume’
    ​
    ​

  5. Enter Adjusted Volume
    ​
    ​

  6. If a spirit, select the ‘DRO Storage Loss/Gain’ Adjustment Customer for the write-off Invoice, otherwise select the desired Adjustment Customer
    ​
    ​

  7. Click ‘Process’
    ​
    ​

  8. The write-off Invoice is created in the background, and the ‘Filled Volume’ of the barrel is adjusted down
    ​-The original full value of the liquid remains associated with the liquid in the barrel. Meaning, the write-off does NOT carry a value, it is only used to decrease the volume of liquid in the barrel.
