Steps

System Behavior:

  • The BarrelsEDBL will create EquipmentTypes that do not already exist in the system if EquipmentTypeID_Translation is mapped.

  • The BarrelsEDBL will create or update the Barrel Attributes, BarrelHistory

  • The BarrelsEDBL will fill the liquid inventory into Barrels when the BinLotsID is set (Or the ProductID and NumUnits are set).

  • When BarrelProductID is mapped (or EquipmentType.productID is valid), Barrel EDBL will create a purchase record for the barrel

Fields And Definitions

  • BinZoneID or BinZoneID_Translation. Link to Equipment Types. Default Bin Zone. The bin created by the system for new equipment will be bound in this Bin zone.

  • BarrelProductID. Link to EquipmentTypes.Product. Use this product to count inventory information of this type of barrel in the Encompass.

  • BarrelCost. Link to BarrelAttributes.Cost. The cost of a barrel.

  • WoodType

  • BarrelType

  • Condition

  • CharLevel

  • ToastLevel

  • LastFillDate

  • ProductID. The product filled in the barrel

  • UnitPrice. The cost of the product filled in the barrel

  • NumUnits. The quantity of product filled in the barrel

  • Proof. The Proof of the product filled in the barrel

  • Expiration date. The expiration date of the product filled in the barrel

  • CodeDate. The code date of the product filled in the barrel

  • ReceiveDate. Only set if you need to create a wine barrel purchase record

  • VendorID or VendorID_Translation. Only set if you need to create a wine barrel purchase record

Best Practices

  • Break the data down by Location and import each Location separately

  • Since the naming rule of the barrel's Bin is EquipmentType.BinZone + Equipment.Num. To avoid having a Bin name that is more than 15 characters long, you can use a short Bin Zone name
