Setting the login company logo and site favicon

Distributor steps for customizing the Encompass login page logo and browser-tab favicon by uploading images to Documents and setting the Document ID on Locations. May take 24 hours; v22.01+.

Steps

The image shown on the login page of Encompass (above the username/password inputs) and the site favicon (small image in the browser tab) can be customized to match the company branding.

Updating the login page image:

  1. Go to the Documents table
    ​

  2. Upload the document to use for the logon page image
    ​
    ​

  3. Save the Document ID that is created
    ​
    ​

  4. Go to the Locations table
    ​
    ​

  5. Add the Site Logo Document ID column to the display
    ​
    ​

  6. Edit the Site Logo Document ID column and fill in the top value as the Document ID from step 3
    ​
    ​

  7. Click on the header for Logo Document ID and click Fill Down
    ​
    ​

  8. Save Changes


There may be a 24 hour cache before the new logo is displayed on the login page

  1. Go to the Documents table

  2. Upload the document to use for the logon page image

    ​

  3. Save the Document ID that is created

  4. Go to the Locations table
    ​
    ​

  5. Add the Site Favicon Document ID column to the display
    ​
    ​

  6. Edit the Site Favicon Document ID column and fill in the top value as the Document ID from step 3

  7. Click on the header for Site Favicon Document ID and click Fill Down
    ​
    ​

  8. Save Changes

    ​

Best Practices

  • Use images smaller than height:150px and width:500px
    ​
    ​

  • Use square images for the favicon
    ​
    ​

  • Use very small images for the favicon (less than 50px height and width)
