Viewing Forecast Data in ATP

1. To view forecast data, turn on the Show Forecast toggle button and click create report.

Note: Forecast data is only available when the view type is Week or Month

2. Forecast data will be in the form of Sales Forecast for finished goods or Production Demand for non-finished goods. In both cases, forecast data will be displayed in the Demand row.

3. The graph ico, will indicate that the value is coming from forecast data and not an actual invoice or production order.

4. If a period has demand from both forecast and actual orders, the value displayed will be the max value. See the example below where the sales forecast is 235 BBLs for week 20, and the actual orders are for 208 cases. The value displayed will be the greater value of 235 BBLs

Editing Forecast Data in ATP

1. Editing forecast data requires the user to belong to a role with Forecast Edit permissions. If the user’s role does not have Forecast Edit permissions, a User Permission must exist with Forecast Edit.

  • It is recommended to stay away from Users Permissions and control permissions at the Role level. This makes permissions earlier to maintain.

2. If a cell has the graph icon , editing the forecast data can be done by hovering over the value in a cell and clicking on the pencil icon when it appears.

3. After clicking the pencil icon the icon will change to a save icon. Click the save icon to save the changes.

4. Saving using the save ico will update inventory for the current period and future periods.
