Pre-Conditions

Local Brand Family must be linked to a global Supplier. Technically speaking, the Brand Family needs a Global Supplier ID. This can be accomplished using the Brand Manager or Product Manager tool on a corresponding Brand/Product. Linking the Brand Family will give the Supplier visibility on the specific set of products they need data for.

Steps

1. Create a User Record for the Supplier:

  • Start by creating a new User record specifically for the Supplier.

2. Create a Supplier User Record:

-While viewing the newly created Supplier User record:

  • Click the 'Subtables' button at the top.

  • Select 'Suppliers Users'.

  • Add a new Suppliers User record.

  • Important: Link this Suppliers User record to the appropriate Supplier.

3. Add a Suppliers Vendors Record:

-While viewing the newly created Supplier User record click the 'Suppliers Vendors' Subtable:

  • Add a new record.

  • Connect the Vendor to the Supplier within this record.

  • This connection is essential for data transfer to dsdlink.

4. Invite User to Orchestra Connect:

-While viewing the 'Suppliers Users' table (after completing the previous steps):

  • Click the 'Invite Users to Orchestra Connect' hyperlink.

  • This will send an email invitation directly to the Supplier.

  • The invitation will guide them to create a dsdlink account.

  • Note: The previous steps ensure that the Supplier's data access in dsdlink is properly managed.
