Route Type LS Types: Route Num

Distributor steps for setting a route type's LS Bin Type to Route Num in Encompass so new load sheets automatically use the route's bin. Needs routes to have a Route Num. Requires v22.01+.

Pre-Conditions

The following workflow assumes that you already have a Route Type to modify.

Steps

How to Set the LS Bin Type to Route Num

  1. Using Universal Search, navigate to the Route Types table.
    ​

  2. Search for the Route Type to modify then click the edit icon.
    ​
    ​

  3. Set the "LS Bin Type" field to Route Num.
    ​
    ​

  4. Click Save Changes.
    ​
    ​

  5. Navigate to the Routes table.
    ​
    ​

  6. Verify the routes have a Route Num because Encompass will automatically create the Bin based on this number.
    ​
    ​NOTE: Now any new load sheet for this route will set the Load Sheet's Bin to the Route's Bin.
    ​
