Best Practices
Your handheld users can also set this icon when receiving assets by taking a picture of the asset as well, but setting it on the server ensures you get a high quality icon of your choice
The image tile on the left is for the overall Asset Type. If the Assets associated with the Asset Type do not have any additional descriptive information such as Brand, Brand Family, Supplier, or Program, the photo uploaded in the left tile will display on mobile. Asset Types are meant to be generic descriptions of Assets.
Any additional tiles on the dashboard are for Assets with descriptive information in addition to the Asset Type including Brand, Brand Family, Supplier, or Program. If an Asset has any of these descriptors filled out, it with not use the generic Asset Type image and you will need to upload an additional image in the Asset's specific tile. This can also be done on mobile in the Asset Manager when receiving, placing, etc. This is so that the image is specific to that Asset. For example, if the Asset Type is 'Coolers' and the coolers are all different Brands, each cooler will need its own photo as each cooler is different.
