Steps

How to Create a Products Comparison Report

1. Using Universal Search, navigate to the New Comparison Report dashboard.

2. Select the Products tab.

Use Case: A user wants to take a look at all active products listed in the Encompass system produced by a Supplier and Brand. This type of list would be helpful if a user must review products by Supplier, Brand, and Product name.

1. In the Parent Field, enter or select Supplier. This divides the list by the suppliers of a user’s choosing.

2. In the Child Field, enter or select Brand. This adds specific brand names beneath each supplier in the rows of the report.

3. In the Detail Field, enter or select Product Name. This ensures that the name of each product within a brand is shown in the report.

4. In the Column Field, a user will want to make sure that the word None is in the field and it is not left blank.

5. Scroll down to the area of the report builder that says Product Filter

a. Under the Status field, enter or select Active.

b. Under the Brand Family field, enter or select a Brand Family.

c. Select the products to include in the report as populated by the report generator.

d. Under the Brand Family field, enter or select preferred Brand (Example: Wind and Clouds Demo Series).

e. Select all products auto-populated by the report generator for that brand
