Best Practices

  • Before setting up the Promotion, consider the products and customers it will apply to. If you have groups of products that should have the same rebate, you may consider setting them up as a Line.

  • Zones are a way of grouping customers together to share the same pricing. Markets are broader than Zones and can be a combination of Zones or chains or even both

  • All Promotions must have a Location, either from the Market or Promotions Locations.

  • All Promotions must have either Promotion Customers or Promotions Zones. Promotions Zones can be added directly to the Promotion or to the Market.

  • The tool tries to find a Route in the right Location's Route Version whose Route Type has LS Type = Cust Rebates. If it is unable to find an active route that meets this criteria, it just randomly picks one from the Location's active Route Version.

  • The tool will find invoices in the selected date rage, that are balanced or verified, that have num units and a price that do not equal 0, that are NOT on a Cust Rebate LS Type
