NOTE: This is most often used for selling Products to another Distributor. There are several variations of At-Cost Pricing that you can choose between. Different variations of At-Cost pricing determine what costs you will/will not pass along to the buyer.

    At-Cost type options:

     ● FOB is simply your cost from the vendor

     ● Laid In - Tax is FOB + Freight + Other Costs - Tax

     ● Laid In is FOB + Freight + Other Costs

     ● Laid In+ Tax is FOB + Freight + Other Costs + Tax

  4. Add or create the supporting Sub Table records for Promotion Zones, Promotions Customers, and Promotions Locations by clicking their designated sub table buttons

  5. Add qualifying Products to the Promotion by creating Promotions Products records using the Add Promotions Product button on the Promotions Products sub table

  6. In the Add Products search, select a Filter to search for the product(s) you want and click the Search button

  7. After searching for the product, use the checkboxes to select the qualifying products and click Save or Save and Add More Products when complete

  8. Repeat Step 8 until all qualifying products are saved and Promotions Products records are created for each qualifying product.

  9. Review the Promotions Products records and edit, if needed

Best Practices

  • If you do not want a Promotion anymore, set an end date, do not delete Promotions

  • To sell Products to another Distributor at Laid In, add Products to an Invoice and ensure that the Distributor is qualified for the Laid In Promotion. Customers are Qualified for a Promotion when they are added to the Promotions Zone on the Promotion or Market or as a Promotions Customer on the Promotion.
