Fields And Definitions

  • Sales Rep Assigned- This is the person currently assigned as the Sales Rep for the customer. This association is made via the Stops Table by adding a Stop with an Activity where Is Sales Rep Assigned = True.

  • Sales Rep Actual- This is the person who actually entered the invoice. For example, if a Sales Manager covers a rep's route while they are out of town, the Sales Manager is the Sales Rep Actual.

  • Sales Rep Historical- This is recorded on the invoice transaction when End of Day is run. It records who the Sales Rep Assigned was at the time the day was closed. This allows for some historical reporting by sales rep, even if a re-route occurs between when the sale was made and the report is run

Best Practices

Before updating routing and Sales Rep assignments, run any relevant commission reporting to ensure that commisions are unaffected by updates to this structure.
