Pairing a Zebra Printer

Driver/rep steps for pairing a Zebra ZQ520/521 Bluetooth printer with a handheld and setting the printer type in Encompass Mobile, then running a test print. Includes video. Requires v23.01+.

Steps

  1. Ensure Handheld Bluetooth is turned on.

  2. Locate the Serial# on the printer
    ​
    ​

  3. Hold FEED button on the printer for 5 seconds to activate Bluetooth Discovery and Pairing Mode
    ​
    ​

  4. Select the SN# of the printer from the handheld
    ​
    ​

  5. A Pair prompt will appear on the handheld, Select Pair on the Handheld and then press the YELLOW CHECK MARK on the printer.

  6. Open Encompass on the handheld
    ​
    ​

  7. Go to: Complete Settings -> Set printer type -> ZQ520/521
    ​
    ​

  8. Back out to: Control Panel->Test Print.
