Minimum Version Required: 22.01

Pre-Conditions

Navigate to the Upload Mailbox File tab, drag/drop/browse files and choose a mailbox. Click the UploadFile button. If this does not work, please follow these steps

Steps

Uploading Mailbox (without using EDI Home)

  1. Navigate to the side menu and click the Import/Export dropdown menu

  2. Click the Supplier Communications button

  3. Navigate to the BudNet tab below the universal search bar

  4. Click the + above Upload Files and select files in the Browse button

  5. Use the search bar or down-arrow to select the corresponding mailbox. This is also labeled as Upload File

  6. → Arrow into the confirmation box to view the complete Exchange Task

Fields And Definitions

  • Mailbox - a relay center for files to be routed/directed to

  • Exchange Task - packages file transfer specifics (transfer date/time, file name, Invoice ID, etc…) that may undergo translation

Best Practices

  • For now, try the Upload Mailbox File tab. If it does not work, use the new process illustrated above as the feature is undergoing changes

  • Using the BudNet tab is the way files can be uploaded; this includes every customer, even customers who do not use BudNet

  • How to check if a file was uploaded? Open the mailbox the file was sent to and the most recent files will appear at the top

  • Be aware that if the mailbox is for an EDI connection, it will be processed as an EDI file. If the mailbox is connected to an Import routine, the file will be processed by that Import Routine

  • Be mindful that you can only upload mailbox files for inbound direction files. Any outbound files will still create an exchange task but will contain a rejection status
