Fields And Definitions

POS Map: The POS system the translation will be used for.

POS Location ID:This is used if the same product in the POS system is used across multiple locations but should translate differently. Enter the relevant location ID per the POS system(s)

POS Product Num: This is the ID out of the POS system that corresponds to a unique product. Use the following IDs for the respective POS system:

  • Clover: Item ID

  • Shopify: Variant ID

  • Silverware: Item ID

  • Square: Variation ID

POS Product Name: Enter the name of the product in the POS system. This value is not used in the translation of the transactions.

POS Units & ECP Units: This defines the ratio of how many POS units go into one unit in ECP (or vice versa). Ex: a 16 oz product that depletes a 1/2 bbl keg (1984 oz) in the taproom would use POS Units = 124 and ECP Units = 1.

Best Practices

For maintaining POS Translations, it is recommended to review the POS OrderTrans to Translation Mapping on the Taproom Invoice Import dashboard and add POS Translations prior to running the import to ensure the right products and quantities are used on the invoice.
