Fill-In Promotion Overview

Distributor setup and driver/rep steps for Fill-In Promotions: install the app, set Max Fill In QTY, then apply earned quantity deals to later orders in Encompass Mobile. Requires v22.07+.

Why Fill-In Promotions?

  • A Fill In Promotion is a promotion where the user has previously qualified for a quantity deal, and can use this quantity deal on another order up to the expiration set without needing to meet the minimum purchase again.

  • This workflow incentivizes retailers to meet quantity deals and supports sales reps in selling on these deals.
    ​
    ​

  • When downloading the application, we will support a new interface in Encompass Mobile where Sales Reps are able to select and apply the Fill-In Promotions directly from invoice edit. This interface can be used to add num units to the invoice and override pricing to the proper qualified fill-in deal.

  • This feature also helps meet the standards of some states that require fill in promotions to help protect retailers.

​Application Setup:
​
​

  1. Install Application in the App Library
    ​
    ​

  2. Enter the Roles for the dashboards and reports
    ​
    ​

  3. Add the amount of days a fill in promotion should be eligble for (Default is 30 days)
    ​
    ​

  4. Select whether this should apply to full case amounts only
    ​
    ​

  5. Click Install Application

Once the application is installed you will be able to use the Max Fill In QTY on the promotion table:

  1. Go to the Promotions table
    ​
    ​

  2. Filter to necessary Promotions
    ​
    ​

  3. Enter Max Fill In QTY
    ​
    ​
    ​

How to qualify for a Fill-In Promotion:

  1. The customer must qualify for a promotion with a Max Fill In QTY filled in by meeting the min purchase quantity
    ​
    ​

  2. This will add a record to the Fill In Promotions Table which will allow for a fill-in promotion to be used once
    ​

    ​

How to use a Fill-In Promotion:

  1. In Encompass Mobile enter the Invoice
    ​
    ​

  2. Fill out order like normal
    ​
    ​

  3. Click the hamburger menu and select Fill-In Promotions
    ​
    ​

  4. Select the product to view available fill-in promotions
    ​
    ​

  5. Enter cases/eaches to fill in
    ​
    ​

  6. Click the back button when completed to sync the changes to the invoice
    ​
    ​

  7. An Invoice is updated with related Products and Pricing is overridden to a fill-in deal
    ​
