Using Build To's in Encompass Mobile

Driver/rep guide to Build To par levels in Encompass Mobile: how auto-orders fill up to the Build To, and how Suggested Order caps at it with Retail Insights. Requires v22.10+.

Steps

Build To's act as a par level in Encompass Mobile.

Set the Build To level in Product Detail to the number of wholesale units that should be kept on hand at the account.

For Customers that do not have Retail Insights and Suggested Order enabled:

Encompass Mobile will auto-order to that level based on user-entered inventory. So, for if the build-to is 20 and an inventory of 5 is entered, 15 units will be ordered.

For Customers where Retail Insights and Suggested Order are enabled:

Encompass Mobile will suggest the optimal order for the customer based on the last 28 days of depletions data, using the build-to as an upper limit. In the example above, Encompass Mobile will never suggest an order that would put on hand inventory for the customer over 20 cases.
