Tier: RAS+
On the Default Bins table, the 'POS Receive Bin' and the 'POS Return Bin' are set.
Steps
How to Receive Assets on Encompass Mobile:
Using Encompass Mobile from the Home screen, tap 'Warehouse'
Tap the Log in to Warehouse button
Select a Location
Scroll to the Asset Manager section and tap the Asset Manager option
Select 'Receiving'
Select Yes/No to Print Asset Tag
Select the Asset Category
Select the Asset Type
Select Brands, Brand Family, or Supplier
Enter the Quantity of the asset being received
Select 'Next'
- Enter Asset Numbers and/or Serial Numbers if required (This is set on the Asset Categories Table)
Select 'Continue'
After these steps, you will receive a green confirmation that the asset was successfully received. The next step will be to 'Put Away' these assets to the appropriate bin.
Best Practices
Please ensure that an Asset Category has already been created on the server. This can be done through the Asset Categories table.
