Asset Status Lifecycle

Explains the asset request task status lifecycle in Encompass: Assigned, Validation Pending and Completed, and when records leave the Asset Delivery Planner and Time Confirmed/Confirmed By populate. Requires v22.01+.

Steps

Asset Status Lifecycle

1. When the Asset is requested, the task will go into the 'Assigned' status.

2. After the request has been approved in 'Asset Delivery Planner', the task will remain in 'Assigned' status, and the record in 'Asset Delivery Planner' will remain until the Asset has been placed at the customer.

3. Once the Asset is picked, the task status will go into 'Validation Pending'.
​
4. Once the Asset has been placed at the Customer, the task status will go into 'Completed' status and the Asset 'Time Confirmed' and 'Confirmed By' will be populated and the record will disappear from Asset Delivery Planner.
