Resetting a User's Password (Orchestra SAP)

Steps for resetting a user's Orchestra SAP remote desktop (RDP) password on the ECP site via Orchestra Customer AD Users, with password rules. Needs ECP login with EmployeeEdit and v22.06+.

  • The user must have valid login to the ECP site

  • The user must have EmployeeEdit to their ECP account

Steps

How to reset orchestra RDP password

1. Login to the ECP site using your ECP credentials.

2. Navigate to Orchestra Customer AD Users.

3. Under the "Password" column, hover your mouse over the user and click the pencil icon.

4. You will be prompted to create a new password. Please ensure the following requirements are met:

  • Passwords must not contain the user's account name

  • Password must include at least 3 of the following character types: Uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, non-alphanumeric characters (!, @, #, $, etc)

  • Password must be at least 8 characters

  • Password must not be any of your previously used passwords

5. Click "Save Changes".

NOTE: This password is temporary and users will need to change it on login.
